Our Calgary customers are really embracing the 2 tire seasons. 2023 was a boom year for winter tires even though the weather has been unseasonably warm. We have always recommended people have dedicated winter tires in Calgary and there seems to be an uptrend in that.
Most notably, 2023 marked 65 years in business for Bowest Motors!

We are seeing more people investing in their vehicles rather than trading in for a new one. This past year, we have seen more jobs like replacement engines, big suspension repairs, and more! To stretch your dollars, we kept our labour rates the same, rather than increasing them, giving our customers even more value in these tight times.
We also continue to see increases in the EV sector. We are now offering more routine maintenance on EVs and we have started to sell EV specific products like wheel and tire packages that are designed specifically for the EV sector.
Notable Milestones in 2023
In 2023, we finished up and sold a fun project that was part of our Bowest Motors heritage. We completed our BugRod project. The car was an original courtesy car from Bowest Motors in the 1960's.
We continue to enjoy a return to normal with more attendance at pre-pandemic events! This was the first summer in a few years we had car related events back on the program. We also had fun at local car meets and shows.
Additionally, our community Garden volunteers had the most abundant and beautiful garden yet!
